Now in the comfort of your own home Vinson Hall at Home allows you to receive the same high quality services. Our friendly, specially trained and experienced clinical professionals can provide you with the care you deserve through a detailed evaluation and customized Home Health care plan, designed to help you manage your condition and maintain your independence at the same high standards that Vinson Hall Retirement Community is known to provide.
Currently, Vinson Hall at Home services are available to Vinson Hall Retirement Community Residents.
Home Health is skilled healthcare services that are provided in your home to address an illness or injury. Often, Home Health is the next step in recovery after being in the hospital or skilled nursing facility such as Arleigh Burke Pavilion. Home Health can also be vital in preventing an unexpected hospital stay by addressing health issues before they require an in-patient stay.

Home Health is covered by standard Medicare at 100%, without a co-pay on your part. There is no limit on the number of times you can receive Home Health, and there is no requirement for a hospital stay prior to being eligible for your Home Health benefit. If your doctor or referring healthcare provider decides you need Home Health service, they will refer you for care at no cost to you.
You can contact your healthcare provider to inquire if Home Health services are right for you. You can also call our staff at 703-538-2973 and explain what you are experiencing. Our staff will contact your doctor. If your doctor agrees you are a candidate for Home Health, he will write orders for the service. We will perform an evaluation and discuss your treatment options with your doctor.
