The foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization that supports Vinson Hall Retirement Community by raising funds through a variety of philanthropic initiatives.
Resident Assistance Fund
Our confidential Resident Assistance Fund supports residents in our community who, through no fault of their own, have depleted their assets. With the Navy Marine Coast Guard Residence Foundation’s (NMCGRF) support, a Vinson Hall Retirement Community resident is never asked to leave because of an inability to pay.
Employee Caring Fund
The Employee Caring Fund supports our dedicated staff members in mind, body and spirit. The fund provides financial assistance to our remarkable team of employees during times of unexpected financial hardship as well as with educational expenses and special appreciation bonuses.
Innovation and Enhancement
In addition to offering a broad range of state-of-the-art amenities, activities and services to its residents, NMCGRF helps support innovative practices and new technology that can benefit today’s seniors.
Wounded Warrior Transitional Housing
Wounded Warrior Transitional Housing at Vinson Hall provides housing for wounded, ill or injured veterans who have been discharged from inpatient treatment and are ready to transition to the next chapter of their life. Since opening in September 2013, ten wounded warriors have joined the NMCGRF family.
